Our Story

Faith, Family, and Something Bigger Than Beef

It started on a Christmas Eve in Chattanooga, and grew into a working ranch in Birchwood, Tennessee.

Quasa Cattle Co. was started by Kenneth “Kenny” Bell and Luke Stepney after they came home from college in December 2025, both wanting to build something together that actually mattered.

Every time they got together, the conversation kept circling back to the same thing: doing something bigger than themselves.

One night, driving through downtown Chattanooga during the Christmas season, they felt led to stop at a local foundation and ask if they could cook a meal for the community on Christmas Day. The schedule was already full, but when they asked about Christmas Eve, there was an opening.

Soon after, they teamed up with Blue Orleans in downtown Chattanooga, where Luke had worked his first job. The restaurant loved the idea and helped make the whole night happen.

On Christmas Eve, Kenny and Luke woke up at 3:00 a.m. to start cooking. By the time the doors opened that morning, they were ready, and together they fed more than 200 people.

Afterward, it really hit them just how many people one cow could feed.

A few days later, sitting on the farm, Quasa Cattle Co. was born.

Today, Quasa raises locally grown Tennessee beef and uses every sale to keep giving back through the Quasa Foundation. Every steak, every pound of ground beef, every family pack carries that same heart behind it.
